The Paradise Depot MuseumThe Paradise Depot opened in March 1904, one of four depots of the Butte County Rail Road, built to serve Diamond Match Company operations in Stirling City. The Museum has a wonderful collection of Maidu Indian artifacts, including a replica of a Maidu woman grinding acorns. |

Stirling City Museum/Library ComplexOn February 28, 2002 Title for three buildings, and approximately half-acre of land, was passed to the Stirling City Historical Society by the State of California. It was formerly used by the California Department of Forestry (CDF) which has a large new facility just behind the Museum/Library complex. |
