Come visit the Tool Museum on August 22nd and see an array of rare and beautifully restored old tractors including a 1959 John Deere 620 Orchard Tractor. This tractor was discovered in an olive orchard north of Oroville. It is one of only 26 gas models made from 1958 – 59. It was improved so that it wouldn’t tear off tree limbs when discing. This and other tractors will be on display in the parking lot from 10 am to 1 pm.
Rod Hisken, rancher, tractor collector and restorer, will give a presentation on tractors dating from 1892 to 1960. He is a good friend of Bud and Laila Bolt and the Museum and his talks are very relaxed and humorous. His regard for local history and Bolt’s Antique Tool Museum, which he considers one of Oroville’s finest jewels, will make it an event to remember!
