The public is invited to hear the history of Depression Glass on Sunday, March 8th. Barbara Gore of Barb’s Bygones of Durham will talk about when depression glass was produced and given away during the dark days of the depression.
Many people collect depression glass which is a clear or translucent glass of various colors. The Patrick Ranch Museum will have two workshop for people to attend on Sunday, March 8th at the Visitors Center. The times are 11:30 am and at 1:30 pm. There will be a display of Depression Glass in the Visitors Center. This is free to attend. The Glenwood Farm House will be decorated with depression glass throughout the house.
